Dr. Kardos performed a Robotic Ovarian Cystectomy on me March of 2013. It turns out not only did I have a large cyst but many fibroids as well. When I first learned I had the cyst, my best friend recommended Dr. Kardos. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment quickly and it was the best thing ever.
Not only was Dr. Kardos professional, but her knowledge, calmness and the way she explained everything to me, as well as recommending other areas to check (I have a history of breast cancer in my family)put me instantly at ease. I knew I was in the best possible hands.
On the day of my surgery she greeted me, explained everything that would happen and off I went to surgery - discussing yoga as I went under! :-)
My recovery has been easy and I really appreciate all of the check in's and follow up. To further illustrate how great Dr. Kardos is - she called me late in the evening a day after my surgery to reconfirm that there was no malignancy. How wonderful! I have never had a doctor do that before. She is a top notch doctor with a wonderful, caring staff that I highly recommend.

Dr. Kardos performed a robotic assisted surgery on me in January of 2013 to remove an ovarian cyst and multiple fibroids. The surgery and recovery were easy; I had minimal discomfort. Her guidance is spot on. Resting (laying down) is important the first week to 10 days. I had my surgery on Monday morning and Thursday later that week I was out to lunch in Pacific Heights and at Costco ( not lifting anything) on Friday with my Mom. She is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend her for these robotic assisted laparoscopic procedures.

Dr. Leslie Kardos performed a robotic myomectomy on me in 2007 with great success. I consulted with several top surgeons in the Bay Area, and Dr. Kardos was the only one who could perform the surgery laparoscopically. I had excellent results from the surgery, with no complications.
